

Finnish INKARA creates and performs playful a hyperpop with a dose of dystopia. With her crafted aesthetic and explosive performance style, INKARA distinguishes herself from other electronic artists by looping and creating beats live.
From the ashes of the pandemic, the former ice queen INKARA has arrived with her new EP “Roadkill” that comes in the form of 5 tracks, each one battling between her alter egos; Tomboy Inka and Princess Inkara. She wants to align with people who’s journey into their identity has been a rollercoaster. INKARA’s production brings bubblegum pop to the experimental club, where you can dance away the pain and turn fears into fuel."
She has been played on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, and was invited back to play a session for BBC Music Introducing in Devon and Cornwall, where she has four times been upload of the week. INKARA’s has also been a BBC Radio 1 Next Wave artist on Jack Saunders' The Indie Show with her track Waterworld.
INKARA has performed live at Reading & Leeds Festivals (BBC Introducing Stages in 2019), Boardmasters in 2023, and The Pilton Party auditions organized by the Eavis family for Glastonbury in 2022, which she won in and played at The Pilton Party festival with Elbow, Easy Life and The Velvet Hands. INKARA has been invited to play festivals in Finland such as Kesärauha, Luminous festival, Visio Festival and Lost in Music -festival.
In November 2020 Inkara was asked to be a part of BBC Masterclass “Making It As A One (Wo)Man band” with Jack Garratt, Georgia and Helena Star.
In early 2021 Inkara was invited to the “Mutants Mixtape vol.4” album curated by Arca. After the song Bestfriend (in collaboration with 1011) was released, it was chosen by the fans as a favorite and made it to a special edition vinyl called “Mutants Mixtape: Best of 1-4”.
